Metryc
Metryc provides near real-time, high-resolution modelled wind speed and rainfall data after every tropical cyclone event.

Metryc input data
Metryc utilizes publicly available data from meteorological agencies such as NHC, JTWC or BOM as input to create the Metryc footprint.
Accounting for uncertainty
To account for uncertainties in storm behavior and environmental conditions, Metryc generates 100 ensemble simulations for each event. This probabilistic approach models variations in the wind field shape. The final output is a footprint map that represents the most likely maximum wind speeds at every 1-km grid cell.
